Our Veterinary Care Team

Dr. Mann lives in Bradford and is your local veterinarian.  He understands that pets are family and helps them by all ways possible to improve their quality of life.

He graduated from Veterinary College in 2003 and did his masters in 2006. Dr. Mann joined VSTEP at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 2008.  He has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2009.

Dr. Mann loves all aspects of Veterinary Medicine and has special interest in  Orthopedic Surgeries (TPLO, Cruciate repair, MPL, FHO or Fracture repair), Dentistry, Cherry eye surgery and Dermatology.  He remains current with recent therapies, surgeries and protocols by continually attending seminars, conferences, courses and through VIN and journal subscriptions.

He likes to spend his spare time with his wife, two children and their cat Peanut and two fish (Bubbles & Rainbow)

Parm joined Summerlyn Pet Hospital in 2013 as a part-time employee filling in for a mat leave. She loved working with animals so much that she ended up staying permanently.   Parm completed her CPA in 2011.  She loves all aspects of working in the veterinary field and so you will see her at helping out at reception, assisting in appointments and managing the hospital.  Parm aims to give each client the best experience while in our care.

Kristen grew up in the Oak Ridges area, but from a young age had been travelling around. From living and going to high school in Iqaluit, Nunavut, to spending 5years in Hong Kong. Kristen has always had a love of all animals and knew at a young age she wanted to become a veterinary technician and graduated from St Lawrence College in 1999. Over the years, she has gained experience in small animal, research laboratories, animal shelter and animal control, and emergency medicine. Kristen currently shares her home with her young daughter, two felines Fitz and Sammy, and a very loving but large Italian Spinone. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, staying active by going on hikes with the dog, and spending time at her trailer.

Ariane graduated from Granville College with a diploma in animal care. She spent some of her early career volunteering for the marine mammal rescue, fostering homeless cats and working in veterinary clinics in Vancouver.
After taking some time off to start a family and move across the country, she is now working here at Summerlyn Pet Hospital.

Originally, Ana started as a co-op student in Summerlyn Pet Hospital back in 2016. She then joined the team once again as a Veterinary Assistant this year in 2022.

Ana is a 2018 graduate of the Veterinary Assistant program (VTA) at Seneca College.Before coming to Summerlyn, she gained additional experience by working and volunteering at various hospitals, shelters and sanctuaries. In order to advance her career, she will be pursuing a Veterinary Technition Diploma in the near future.

Ana loves the diversity of the job and the lasting relationships that are created with the clients and patients. She also devotes a great amount of time to self-education in the veterinary field to provide the best service to our patients.

Outside of the hospital, Ana enjoys spending a lot of time with her adorable Golden Retriever named Lucky and her 3 cats (Violet, Lucy and Toby).

My name is Tania Cordero, originally from Peru in South America. Graduated from veterinary school in 2007. Have been working in the veterinary field since 2008 most of my time has been spent between small and large animals but most often with large animals in particular horses.

My name is Ashley, and I am one of the veterinary assistants here at Summerlyn pet hospital. I have graduated from Veterinary assisting at Georgian college in August. I am planning on going back to Georgian college to be a veterinary technician. I have two dogs, a Shepard husky mix and a St. Bernard mix. A tabby cat named Beans, along with a budgie and a hedgehog. I have experience with almost every pet!

My name is Kyara. I started working at the clinic in February of 2021 as a coop student than in April as an animal care assistant. I’m currently in the Veterinary assistant program at Seneca college and plan on going back to complete the veterinary technician program. At home I have 4 kitty fur babies; Haru, Nala, Patches, and Relic and 2 bunny fur babies named Juuzou and Legoshi. While I’ve been here I have made many furry friends and hope to make many more.
